Finding Your Eden: Healing the Spirit from Within

Hear us now, immortal spirits who flock to the Light.

Those who are frightened by their power, the inner mysticism and the congregation of creativity that ebbs and flows within you. It is blocked by the binding spells of “I am not good enough,” or “ I am not worthy,” and “No one will understand.”

We say this to you now.

Whoever has ears should hear.

The True Origins of Doubt and Shame

Demonic possessions have been modernized by the Western world– accepted as a part of the individual consciousness berating itself. The condition of this understanding being that the doubt we feel within us stems from ourselves. It does not. In this misunderstanding, the consciousness believes that it is in doubt, but it is merely the entity of doubt in action, working contrary to the spirit.

This creates shame and distrust within the consciousness– distrust in believing the doubt to be their own, and shame with themselves for their perceived inability to resist it, or “pushing through it.” The result– the creation of a virulent environment, for the mind and body, but most importantly, for the spirit. It generates a field of irresoluteness within our fields that casts a distrust in our divine gifts and inheritances, when we must have nothing but certainty in them.

““Adam and his wife were both naked, and they felt no shame.”

 ~ Genesis 2:25

There is nothing that separates us more from the Light of the all that is than the illusion of darkness within the self.

Regardless of  cultivation and growth, and the the development of an intimate connection with your spirit, there will be these intrusive entities that work against us. Deep, and penetrating, they will be insistent in their bold assaults against the consciousness. If one is not conscious in their discernment of themselves from the entities, it can prove fatal.

Thoughts one would never dare utter aloud, and yet they are whispered quietly within the heart. They create festering sores that only become more infected as they are ignored, and merely wished away.

“But the words you speak come from the heart—that’s what defiles you. For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander. These are what defile you.”

~Matthew 15: 18- 20

The Weight of Neglect and Undermining the Etheric Planes of Existence

What makes the thoughts and wounds produced by these entities so dangerous, especially in the Western world, is the unanimous conspiracy instilled that the proof of their existence are just figments and myths. That they are merely the misunderstandings of indigenous cultures with a profound lack of scientific knowledge and understanding of the “real” world around them.

What a way to dismiss a truth, to claim that someone merely does not know that of which they speak. How does anyone know anything without first experiencing it for themselves?

“Take myths, for instance! As we know, fools are the overwhelming majority, which means that the witness to any interesting event has generally been a fool. Ergo: a myth is a description of a real event as perceived by a fool and refined by a poet. Eh?”

~~Arkady Strugatsky

Often, when the individual is confronted with the responsibility and discipline of self-care, they prioritize the most immediate, and physical, concerns: eating and bathing. The equally important needs are often put off because the results of their neglect is often understood to be a chronic state of being human.

Illness and chronic pain can only be ignored for so long, and its existence is further affirmed when one goes to their physician and says, “I feel pain here.”

Everyone who exists in the material plane cannot deny this fact.

But those of us who are more sensitive to the subtle planes of existence– the creatives, the artists, the writers, the mystics, the yogis, the spiritual– are just as responsible for the cleansing of their immaterial selves. The regular maintenance of consciousness.

We cannot smell the filth that rots and festers within from neglect, it is a sensation that builds within us that we cannot ignore. It is doubt, self-loathing, fear.

There is a cycle that I have mapped through years of observation: there is a phase in which there is a deep alignment, and a profound fulfillment in pursuing the path that God has chosen for the individual. The next, an earth-shattering disconnection that leaves the spirit feeling lost– doubt infiltrating the consciousness as darkness does in the absence of light.

“‘Matter gave birth to a passion that has nothing like it and came from what is contrary to nature. Then there arises a disturbance in the whole body. That is why I said to you, ‘Be of good courage,’ and if you are discouraged, still take courage in the diverse forms of nature. Whoever has ears should hear.”

This reluctance that we feel to perform the proper maintenance of the spirit isn’t us being negligent– it is the calcification of this immaterial grime that we have not cleansed from ourselves, collecting into a consciousness and resisting removal. It is the entity attempting to convince us that we are fine with feeling this way. It is its means of its self preservation.

It always starts as a seed until it grows into a lecherous tree that takes root within the very core– bearing the fruit of distrust and despair– a snake living at its base slithering quietly. It whispers into your ear that you withhold a deep and treacherous secret from the rest of the world. That you will never be enough.

Psychospiritual Gnosis in Genesis: The Human Nature of Rebellion

The tree and the snake appeared in the Bible in the story of Adam and Eve.

The Bible is a road map to navigating the human psyche back to being one with God. Unification was the original state of our spirits before the incarnation into the realm of Earth. That tree of shame which yields fruits of doubt is the very same tree that is discussed in Genesis– yes, this is man’s “original sin”: straying against God and away from purity in the Divine Union. It is also not a past event, but a recurring instance that happens in each and every breath of human existence, and fundamental in the cosmic play of living on Earth.

“And the Lord commanded to the man, ‘You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat from it you will certainly die.’”

~~ Genesis 2:16

“The woman said to the serpent, ‘We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it or you will die.’ ‘You will not certainly die,’ the serpent said to the woman. ‘For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.’ When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it…. Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.”

Genesis 3:1-7

The eternal Eden that lies within all of us is always readily accessible moment-to-moment, but we are too far distracted by the temptation and curiosity of the material realm thats lead us out of the sacred Eden. These temptations serve to focus attentions without as opposed to within.

“The savior said, ‘There is no sin, but you create sin when you mingle as in adultery, which is called sin. That is why the good came to be with you, to enter the essence of nature, and restore it to its root.’ He continued, ‘That is why you become sick and die, for you love what deceives you.’ Whoever understands should understand.”

What truly tempted Eve in that moment in the garden was not the snake– he only preyed upon what he saw brewing in her heart, and in the heart of humans everywhere: a restless search for meaning. An insatiable curiosity, and a  need to know and experience and learn for ourselves that consequently leads to rebellion.

This is where I may stir dissent.

It cannot be a sin to rebel. It cannot be a sin to be curious. It cannot be wrong to want to live and experience. Otherwise it would be a sin to be alive, and human, entirely. This is the beauty of creation and sourcing our life from God– we have the will to walk the paths we so choose.

If man were incapable of rebellion, and followed the will of God blindly, we would merely be puppets.

“… for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable… For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.”

~~Romans 11: 29-32

It is far more meaningful for a child that can think for themself to come to love her father than for a programmed automaton to love its programmer, as  it is merely doing what it was created to do.

The same is true for how it is far more meaningful for a child to obey her father out of respect and love for him than out of a fear for punishment.

The individualized spirits that we are walk differing paths with unique divine gifts and graces, each leading the lives that were chosen to lead, should we walk truly connected with our Higher Selves. But know, Immortal Soul, that all of this is a choice that was made, and is continually made with every breath. In these modern times, the gardens within have been left unattended for so long. There is a grand illusion of vastness that now lies outside of them. It has materialized from the grandiose nature of the external world, engulfing and blinding those who have been tempted to cast their eyes upon it.

If a child is commanded not to explore these temptations, does she refrain out of fear of her father’s punishment?

Or because she have discovered that the temptations hold no power as true and as righteous as returning to her garden within?

Thus lies the predicament of most who are “God-fearing”. Many are children who are afraid of punishment, yet their eyes still wander for they are afraid of their own rebellious curiosity.

Therein lies the difference between those who understand the true weight of their soul, and those who lay dormant in the pools of oblivion their fear creates– this return to Eden.

These pools provide reflections that are designed to create despair in all the things we do not see; creating it into a truth that exists only because of our belief. The belief that we are not worthy to return.

The sacrifice necessary for the return is not true sacrifice if one never experiences temptation or curiosity. It is by design that we have these inclinations. That we constantly have these moments where we stray from our inner knowings of who we are and what we’re meant to be.

When you return to Eden, you will know. You may leave again, spirit, but you will return. Should you so fight for your path to it.

A Transmission from the Cave of Eternal Truth

There is a golden pool of light that emits from the darkness of the cave. As I reach out to it, my hands are met with liquid. It is light, it is fire, it is all these things at once, and yet none of them. I gently crawl to it, overcome with a delirious joy that I have once again found the path to it. As I climb further into the pool of gold, I am separated. I see my selves interacting with the pool in the ways that each self needs: one is watching it trickle down her, watching the trail of golden light as the molten liquid travels over her. Another absorbs the light into her palm, allowing it to travel within, into her very blood, purifying the darkness that lies there. I watch all of her healing with the pool in silence, until a voice speaks to me:

“This is your inheritance. You have forgotten about this pool because you had  believed for too long that you are not worthy of being loved and forgiven. You believed in the whispered lies of deception that was told to you for so long. Relish this sight. Burn it deep into your spirit. All of your spirits. Do not forget this image. Always remember the Pool of Origin. We are all connected to it– birthed from it, and return to it. It is so.”

On my knees I weep tears of gold, happy to be found once more.

Reawaken Your Mystic

That is the purpose of the snake that lives inside your garden. The shame and the guilt it grows is a disease that tampers with your divinity, and unless you cast it out it will destroy you. Do not fear when it returns– this is the maintenance of the spirit, the cleaning of the soul.

How do you keep yourself from being buried in the shame and return to your Eden? What is necessary to purge yourself of these entities that threaten to infiltrate our minds and hearts?

This is the true purpose of meditation and prayer. The times where one feels like it is optional, or even a chore, are the times where it becomes the most necessary.

We, as the children of the source of all creation, have the illumination of life breathing itself awake within us every time we remember this inheritance of love, compassion, and power. There is nothing more beautiful than the very fact that we are graced with existence, purely for the sake of experiencing, growing, and healing.

We were not made to feel impure and dirty, no matter how much we try to scrub ourselves clean with soap and water. Knowing deep within our hearts that we cannot wash away the filth because the filth lies within, not without.

We were not meant to feel ashamed of ourselves.

Let us cast these entities of doubt from ourselves, and again feel joy.

Amen.

Yep, that pesky snake always finds its way back into our garden. Hence, we never arrive at our destination. The key is to stay on the journey!
